About us

With our roots firmly placed in surf culture, Rincon Surf Co make boards to improve the ability of surfers. We started off small and went off the radar for a while to refine our boards. We now work with the best raw materials and primarily focus on shaping and designing. Working closely with one of the finest finishing factories in the world, we are able to create desirable boards.

Our collections are purposeful, small but refined. With contemporary methods, we create classic designs. Every season we redevelop our range, based on your feedback. With extensive testing, we focus on the details. Our team takes our boards to various parts of our blue backyard, involving the locals to get the hard truth. In the final phase of refinement, fractional adjustments are made and tested. After we give the collection the green light, using infallible board technology we create a run of identical boards, ready for you.

Over the years there has been a shift and we have expanded our horizons. Now we are exclusive to Torpedo 7. Whilst our boards look good online, we know it's not like the real thing. So get your skates on and whip down to one of their stores to check out our boards in the flesh.

OUR STORY

We named ourselves Rincon Surf Co way back in 2000 to pay homage to one of the top 100 waves in the world. The renowned long, right-hand Point Break in Southern California; reverse to our own long-left break, Shipwreck Bay.

Rincon Surf Co is the fulfillment of the classic young surfer’s dream, to create desirable boards. Boards that can take on any wave, using the angle of attack to generate lift and speed to the Nth degree.
